One of the many special touches at a wedding is the lighting. Lighting may bring an elegant and chic look to every setting whether the reception takes place inside or outdoors. The lighting creates the mood of the reception. Its illumination can make things such as wedding cakes, flowers, and detail look radiant. My favorite lighting colors are pink,white,and yellow bringing a sweet and loving mood to the reception. Some few examples of what lighting can do are;

Photo Booths

A photo booth is a special touch to a wedding that allows guests to create special messages to the bride and groom using personalized photographs. I recently attended a wedding with a photo booth and it was the biggest hit of the day. The guests, including myself, had a blast dressing up in boas, hats, glasses, etc. It was a great way for the bride and groom to look back at everyone in attendance, and a fun way for guests to write a memorable note to the couple about their wedding day. Try something new at your wedding and create fun memories with your guests by checking out a photo booth for your special day! A few great choices are:

1. Dress Up Photo Booth

2. Antique Photo Booth

3. Color Photo Booth

This past week I was able to meet up with Dawn Stone from Embellishmint and I absolutely love their work! What makes them stand out is their creative styles with various floral arrangements that range in size, shape, color and design. Their unique style is very classic and elegant. My Favorite event they have done is Lanie's and Bethner's Wedding! Check them out at for more information!

Opera Patisserie

 A couple of weeks ago I was able to speak to a director at Opera Patisserie in San Diego.  There is no need to travel far if you’re craving a taste of Europe.  The flawless desserts here range from classic Parisian macaroons to madeleines and flourless chocolate cakes.  The detail and care they take in each dessert is amazing so I can’t wait to try their macaroons next time I’m nearby! Visit their website for more information!
